This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Access data is processed to provide and secure the website: requested page, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, time and anonymised IP address. IONOS specifies eight weeks of retention for web hosting visitor data. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. IONOS WebAnalytics also produces usage statistics for technical optimisation. According to IONOS, WebAnalytics uses no cookies; the IP address is anonymised immediately after transmission.
3. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our interest in responding to enquiries. Retention depends on the purpose of processing and any statutory retention requirements.
This website has no contact form. The upload request button opens your email application with a prepared message. The website itself does not send an email. To arrange an appointment, please call us. Clients use their agreed Agenda access to exchange documents digitally.
4. External map
OpenStreetMap is loaded only after your active consent. The provider is the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. In particular, your IP address and technical connection data are transmitted to the provider. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw it at any time through the privacy settings with effect for the future.
We store your map preference in your browser’s session storage (sessionStorage, key “rohlfing-map”) to apply your choice. Storage lasts for the current browser tab session (section 25(2), no. 2 TDDDG). Map tiles are delivered through servers worldwide; data may be processed outside the EU. The map provider determines how long technical access logs are retained; its privacy policy specifies no uniform period for these logs. Further information: OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
5. Images, fonts and analytics
Images are loaded from our own webspace. The website uses system fonts. Our website code contains no analytics or advertising scripts and sets no marketing cookies. Any additional processing by the hosting provider must be considered separately.
6. Links and news
Agenda, Google Maps, the Federal Fiscal Court and the Federal Ministry of Finance are accessed through external links. Your browser connects to the respective provider only when you follow these links. Their privacy policies apply to processing on those sites. BFH news is retrieved on the server; website visitors’ IP addresses are not transmitted to the BFH for this purpose.
7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation.
